The situation

The SOP library was written over fifteen years by thirty authors. Parameter values conflict between documents that govern the same step. Procedures reference other procedures that no longer exist. Requirements read “periodically” and “as appropriate” - words no one can be trained to and no one can be audited against. Two documents that started as copies have quietly diverged into two different instructions for the same task.

No individual author did anything wrong. Corpus problems are invisible from inside any single document, and no human reads four hundred SOPs side by side. So the conflicts surface the expensive way: an operator follows one document while an investigator reads another, a deviation gets written against an ambiguity, a training module teaches a step its procedure no longer contains.

Training inherits every one of these defects, because training begins with the documents. A qualification program built on a conflicted corpus teaches the conflicts.

What we deliver

A whole-corpus document health assessment. The platform reads everything and surfaces what no reviewer can see from inside: conflicts between parameter values across documents; gaps - procedures referenced but nonexistent, steps with no mapped training, requirements with no implementing SOP; ambiguities with suggested rewording; duplication that has quietly diverged; and staleness - documents past periodic review or resting on superseded references.

A scored Document Health Report. Findings arrive scored by severity, clustered by document family and process area, and trended over time - built to drop into the Management Review deck, not to sit in a drawer. Leadership sees the shape of the problem and whether it is shrinking.

A prioritized remediation roadmap. Not “fix everything” - a sequence. Which conflicts create inspection risk now, which gaps block training, which clusters can be resolved in one revision cycle. The roadmap turns a ten-year accumulation into a workable program.

Structuring standards going forward. Assessment without prevention just schedules the next assessment. We deliver the document structure standards that make new and revised documents teachable and machine-readable at the source - so the corpus gets healthier with every revision instead of drifting back.

As with every service in this family, the platform detects, analyzes, and drafts; it never publishes or approves. Every finding routes to a qualified human reviewer, and every disposition is yours.

Where it starts

The engagement scales to the corpus. A 500-document pilot proves the method on your most active document families; the same pipeline runs on corpora of ten thousand-plus. Either way, the first deliverable is the same: an honest, scored picture of what your documents actually say - and where they disagree.

What changes

The corpus stops being an archaeology project. Conflicts are known, prioritized, and shrinking on a schedule you control. Vague requirements become trainable ones. And everything built on top of the documents - training, qualification, change control - starts from ground that holds.
