Private & Local AI Deployment

AI capability where your documents never leave your control - your cloud, your premises, even air-gapped.

The situation

The organization wants AI capability but cannot send proprietary process documents to public cloud tools - and should not. Batch records, process parameters, investigation histories: this is the content competitors would pay for and regulators expect you to control. The standard AI offering, where your content flows to someone else’s service under someone else’s terms, is a non-starter, and for some sites even ordinary cloud tenancy is off the table.

The usual outcome is paralysis: the security review blocks everything, the value stays theoretical, and the ungoverned workaround - staff quietly using personal accounts - fills the gap with the worst of both worlds. The actual solution is architectural: put the AI where the documents are allowed to be.

What we deliver

Private AI environments deployed into your own infrastructure. Capability that runs in your cloud tenancy or fully on-premises, where documents never leave the company’s control. Your content is processed inside your boundary, under your access controls, visible to your audit - not transmitted to a third-party service and hoped about.

Local model options for air-gapped environments. For sites where nothing crosses the network boundary, we deploy models that run entirely on local hardware. Deliberately, the AI’s task is kept narrow in these environments: retrieval and citation over improvisation. A local model that finds and quotes the effective procedure is dependable; one asked to improvise is a liability. We build the former.

The narrow-task principle throughout. Private deployment is not about recreating a general-purpose chatbot behind your firewall. It is about specific, bounded capabilities - document search with citation, structured drafting assistance, records queries - each scoped tightly enough to be trustworthy and auditable. Narrow is not a limitation; in a regulated environment, narrow is the feature.

Handover and internal-ownership training. The engagement ends with your team running the system: administration, content updates, monitoring, and the operating knowledge to keep it healthy. We build for the day we leave - documented, maintainable, owned by you. A capability that requires its consultant forever is a subscription wearing a consulting costume, and we do not build those.

Where this fits

This service is the deployment architecture behind the assistant capabilities we build: the governed knowledge assistant brings cite-or-refuse discipline, custom assistants bring role-specific scope, and private deployment is what lets either run where your documents must stay. Together they answer the security review’s question before it is asked.

What changes

The security conversation flips. Instead of “can we trust this vendor with our documents?”, the question becomes “does our own environment meet our own standards?” - a question your organization already knows how to answer. AI capability arrives without a single controlled document leaving your control, and the team that runs it is yours.

Every engagement begins with a conversation and a scoped proposal.
